E-Zine Academy Review

What is the product about?

Developed by Martin Avis, E-Zine Academy is a training program that teaches users how to generate an income using created newsletters.

What is the product?

Weighing in at 237 pages E-Zine Academy is a rather weighty training program, this is before you factor in bonus content. The creator Martin Avis also provides users with an 84 minute video of one of his seminars as well as a guide to getting your first subscriber and finally, a step-by-step guide that teaches you the basics of getting your E-Zine up and running. Martin Avis claims that his training plan is the culmination of his knowledge and says that using his product you will learn how to write, what to write about, who to write for and how to get subscribers on board. Once you have this subscriber base Martin Avis claims that you can make money through selling your products. He even claims to be so successful he is in the top ten lists of affiliates for sales.

What is the investment vs. the rate of return?

Martin Avis says that back in 2011 he provided the same product but provided as a physical copy as a home study course. He claims that this package sold for $800. E-Zine Academy is available today for $147 which suggests a bargain price although I’d be inclined to take this with a pinch of salt. In terms of a return on your investment Martin Avis doesn’t provide any figures. He is happy to discuss turning his own product into a viable career and how he supports his family and a modest lifestyle off this income but ultimately says that nobody can say how much you should make.

Does the product provide value for money?

I feel this depends on what you are looking for from your product. If you view E-Zine Academy as a way to improve your writing and advice on how to set up an E-Zine then maybe. If on the other hand you want to use it as an income I would expect to see some projected figures on income from Martin Avis before I could say whether or not this represents value.

Conclusion

Despite some solid foundations there is a distinctive absence of evidence in Martin Avis’ sales pitch. He claims to be on top ten lists of affiliates but will not show any evidence of this, not even linking to such a list. This strikes me as a little suspicious and that alone is reason enough that I would personally look to avoid E-Zine Academy if you are looking purely for a profitable product.
