Created by Jeff Mills, Power Lead System offers a number of training videos as well as various marketing resources. There is also an affiliate referral scheme.
What is the product?
Power Lead System is made up of two main parts. The first I shall look at is the affiliate referral scheme which essentially operates as something of a multi-level marketing product. The idea is that when you sign people up you receive commission payments on every other person that you sign up to the Power Lead System affiliate program. The referrals you sign up that don’t give you payments are given to the person who signed you up. The whole process is somewhat questionable and rather complicated. The second thing that Power Lead System provides is a series of training videos. There are over 20 of them and they cover a variety of topics related to marketing. There is also a whole section dedicated to YouTube marketing under the guise of YouTube U. Creator Jeff Mills says that by using the techniques taught in these training videos you can build lists, generate leads and increase sales.
What is the investment vs. the rate of return?
Power Lead System comes with a free 7 day trial. After this trial period the cost goes up to $30 per month which only covers the training aspect of Power Lead System. If you want access to the affiliate scheme you will have to pay an additional $28 per month. There is no mention of any refund policy so it seems reasonable to expect that there is nothing in place in that regard. In terms of the return on your investment it is a bit of a tricky one to value. The affiliate scheme is easier and offers $20 for every other user you sign up and the potential for the same amount from every other person they sign up. The training side of Power Lead System doesn’t have a direct monetary value and results should be expected to be qualitative rather than quantitative. That having been said by applying the marketing techniques covered it seems reasonable to expect a small increase in sales.
Does the product provide value for money?
I don’t believe that Power Lead System does represent value for money.
Conclusion
The biggest issue with Power Lead System is the affiliate scheme. I don’t like it and I would not recommend it at all. It seems a little bit like a cash sink and I get the distinct feeling you will more likely than not pay in more than you ever get out of it. In terms of the training side of things this holds up much better but I don’t believe that a subscription based model is the correct way for Power Lead System to charge for this service. I simply don’t see enough content to justify paying each month for the training available which would lead me personally to explore other marketing options.
