What is the product about?
Created by Derek Hall, Punt and Profit is a horse racing tipster service that he claims is aimed at bettors who want to take their horse racing seriously.
What is the product?
Punt and Profit is a tipster service that whilst new, will be fundamentally familiar to anybody who has looked at the current onslaught of independent tipsters that are offering their services through Clickbank. There is very little information on the selection process for Punt and Profit outside of Derek Hall talking about how long he has been involved with betting on horses (20 years with 4 years making a living solely through his system if you believe the copy). Not surprisingly, this is a claim that comes with very little evidence to back it up. In terms of what information is available about Punt and Profit, it covers a number of disciplines with selections being sent out for all weather, flat and jump races. There will be 2-3 of these selections typically sent to Punt and Profit subscribers with Derek Hall advising whether a bet is win or place, however you can receive as many as five bets or in some cases, none at all. Interestingly enough given how long he claims to have been in horse racing, Derek Hall says that you can place Punt and Profit selections with any bookie although there aren’t many that offer placed bets unless they are each way. In terms the staking, Punt and Profit follows a level staking system with an average strike rate of 33% although this isn’t evidenced anywhere.
What is the investment vs. the rate of return?
Punt and Profit is being sold on a subscription basis with a number of options available. You can get a 14 day subscription for £14, a 30 day subscription (with a bonus 7 days) for £30 and a 60 day subscription (with a bonus 60 days) for £60. All options are allegedly only available to a small number of people however they do all come with a 60 day money back guarantee as Punt and Profit is sold through Clickbank. In terms of the income potential, Derek Hall says that he makes in excess of £1,200 each month using £50 stakes.
Does the product provide value for money?
For a number of reasons, I am doubtful of Punt and Profits ability to really perform as advertised.
Conclusion
Punt and Profit, like so many tipster services of this nature, is let down by any evidence whatsoever that it does what it claims. There is no proofing provided, nor does Derek Hall provide any evidence to demonstrate that Punt and Profit does work. Without the 60 day money back guarantee that comes courtesy of Clickbank, there would be no reassurances at all and that doesn’t bode well at all. The way I see Punt and Profit is a product that is saying “I do work, honestly”. Given how long Derek Hall has been running Punt and Profit, some evidence should be present (for example, I don’t know of one serious bettor that doesn’t monitor their bets). All of this just isn’t good enough in my book and as such, I wouldn’t be remotely inclined to use the service.
