Punt and Profit Review

What is the product about?

Created by Derek Hall, Punt and Profit is a horse racing tipster service that he claims is aimed at bettors who want to take their horse racing seriously.

What is the product?

Punt and Profit is a tipster service that whilst new, will be fundamentally familiar to anybody who has looked at the current onslaught of independent tipsters that are offering their services through Clickbank. There is very little information on the selection process for Punt and Profit outside of Derek Hall talking about how long he has been involved with betting on horses (20 years with 4 years making a living solely through his system if you believe the copy). Not surprisingly, this is a claim that comes with very little evidence to back it up. In terms of what information is available about Punt and Profit, it covers a number of disciplines with selections being sent out for all weather, flat and jump races. There will be 2-3 of these selections typically sent to Punt and Profit subscribers with Derek Hall advising whether a bet is win or place, however you can receive as many as five bets or in some cases, none at all. Interestingly enough given how long he claims to have been in horse racing, Derek Hall says that you can place Punt and Profit selections with any bookie although there aren’t many that offer placed bets unless they are each way. In terms the staking, Punt and Profit follows a level staking system with an average strike rate of 33% although this isn’t evidenced anywhere. Continue reading

Footy Lay Profits Review Betting Gods

What actually is the product about?

Part of the Betting Gods umbrella of tipsters, Footy Lay Profits is a lay betting tipster service for football games.

What is the product, and what does it do?

Footy Lay Profits is a lay betting service for football providing subscribers with daily tips. These are sent out via email between 10.30 and 11.30 with the selections advising whether to lay against the home or away team or on occasion, a draw. There is a rather respectable strike rate claimed for Footy Lay Profits of 83.68%. This is achieved through the analysis of the (unnamed) tipster who refers to himself as a “self-confessed stataholic”. Sports Profit System Review

What is the product about?

Sports Profit System is a US based “sports betting system”. Depending on your subscription package you receive picks for a number of US based sports.

What is the product?

Sports Profit System isn’t really that different from many UK based tipster services with the exception that it never refers to tips instead offering what it calls premium picks. The setup is kind of odd in that you only receive these picks for certain sports depending on the level of package you sign up for (presumably to encourage users to purchase more expensive packages). Ultimately you can expect tips for NBA, NFL NCAA basketball and football as well as MLB and the World Cup. Selections for Sports Profit System are openly based on form and statistical analysis with details of why selections are made sent out with the picks. Continue reading

Form Football Review

What is the product about?

Offered by Bet Kudos, Form Football is a betting system created by “Steve”, an ex-manager for a bookies. The system draws heavily on his knowledge.

What is the product?

Form Football is an email based tipster system that provides betting advice for (as is implied in the name) football. There are a number of different bets claimed to be available with Form Football but not a whole lot is discussed. The selections made are presumably made based on Steve’s knowledge of the game and a network of connections but this is pure speculation on the grounds of his background as a bookie. The fact is that information about Form Football is very scarce. Continue reading

JPW Racing Tipster Review

What is the product about?

Created by James Walsh, JPW Racing Tipster is a horse racing tipping service with James Walsh claiming to have been analysing horse racing since his teens.

What is the product?

JPW Racing Tipster sends out daily tips from founder James Walsh. Tips are email and SMS based and will typically carry around 3 different selections. The selections differ depending on which of the two services available you choose. These are standard backing tips, the other is a laying system. The selections for JPW Racing Tipster are built on James Walsh’s allegedly massive knowledge of horse racing form and stats. This makes a refreshing change to know as many tipsters are very quiet about their selection methodology which always worries me slightly. Continue reading

Automated Tipster Review

What is the product about?

Created by Nicholas Firth, Automated Tipster is a piece of software that examines tips from a number of tipsters to bring users the most common selections.

What is the product?

Automated Tipster is fundamentally analysis software that creator Nicholas Firth claims scans over 100 different horse racing tipster services to search for the most frequent selections. He claims that by using these patterns the selections are more likely to come in. The software itself is claimed to be one click and provides fully automated selections. It also comes with instructions and a user guide. Although proofing is provided for Automated Tipster it is somewhat confusing to follow with no clear result which is a little disconcerting. Unfortunately no strike rate is provided for Automated Tipster. Continue reading

Late Call Betting is Andy Bell’s second horse racing tipster service with this one being based around last minute selections.

To date Late Call Betting has produced a decent strike rate of 60% over 2 months of proofing provided. Continue reading

Betfan Review

What is the product about?

Betfan is a website that offers a number of betting systems, proofing and betting related blogs.

What is the product?

Betfan opens on a home page that is mostly focussed on the blogging aspect. Having had a flick through these they look to be quite interesting and engaging. Then there is the bulk of Betfan which is the sale of their various products. There are a substantial number of them amounting to over 30 covering football, horse racing, rugby and even golf. Some of these products have been reviewed here already and they seem to be pretty decent in the main. If you are interested in any of their services as wells as the proofing you can take a look at the top performing products. Continue reading

A Class Apart Review

What is the product about?

Created by Steve Davidson, A Class Apart is a tipping service that sends out to users back to win and back to place selections.

What is the product?

A Class Apart appears to be based on analysis of horses, conditions etc. with creator Steve Davidson saying that selection advice is sent out late in the day so that track conditions and none runners are known. He then says that there is an improved chance of choosing winners with more current information available. As mentioned, the selections are sent out late, around noon to be precise and they are not sent daily, only when there is a potential winner available. A Class Apart notifies users of tips through email and an Android app, as well as a members page users can log into. So far Steve Davidson claims that A Class Apart has produced a strike rate of 68.97% for placement and 55.87% for wins. Continue reading
