Betting Pro Lays Review

What is the product about?

Betting Pro Lays (in association with betting-pros.co.uk) offers daily emails to its subscriber base with the latest lay betting tips.

What is the product?

As mentioned above, Betting Pro Lays is a lay betting service that claims that it can use lay betting and its own odds system to minimise risk when gambling, although no actual strike rate is shown which is exactly the kind of thing you would expect to see here. The system uses lay betting which essentially means betting that a horse won’t win. There are an ever increasing number of these systems cropping up and there doesn’t seem to be anything to really differentiate Betting Pro Lays from its competitors other than pulling out at set odds but really, this is something that any seasoned gambler would do anyway.

What is the investment vs. the rate of return?

Betting Pro Lays offers 3 different types of subscription. There’s weekly, monthly and annually and these cost £6.99, £24.99 and £249.99 respectively. The weekly subscription is only really provided as a trial period and Betting Pro Lays say they’ll refund the cost if you don’t end up in profit. At first glance there isn’t anything about how much you can earn but with a bit of digging and looking at the results, Betting Pro Lays were able to go from an initial betting bank of £500 to £1949.81 over the period of Nov 2012 – Sep 2013. This represents a profit of £1449.91 but you’d have to factor in your subscription cost as well so after that it’d be closer to £1200.

Does the product provide value for money?

The big worry in terms of working out value for money is what the stakes involved are. The first few losses on the sheet are £25 a bet so we can use that figure as a starting point. If you’re investing that kind of money every time that’s a lot to put at risk for a profit that really isn’t all that amazing over nearly a year.

Conclusion

Personally I don’t think Betting Pro Lays really sells itself. The profit isn’t substantial and there doesn’t seem to be anything new about the system that’s worth studying. There are likely other betting and tipping services that can offer better results for a similar investment and on those grounds alone I’d definitely shop around before thinking of committing to this product.
