What is the product about?
Offered by Stark Investors, Dopey Donkeys is a subscription based lay betting service.
What is the product?
Dopey Donkeys is a tipster service for lay betting named for the claim that the horses selected are so unlikely to win they are not just donkeys but dopey donkeys. Stark Investors say that they have created a system that is able to find the right lays at the right prices and as a result they can keep their liabilities to a minimum. In fact the average liabilities are claimed to be just 1/3. The formula that is used for selections is kept secret but Stark Investors say that it has proven it works on a number of occasions. Stark Investors claim to use a long term and professional approach to all their betting services in order to protect their reputation and integrity.
What is the investment vs. the rate of return?
Dopey Donkeys is available on a subscription basis for £34.95 per month or a one off payment of £199. Unfortunately there is no money back guarantee mentioned so it seems unlikely that there is something in place. In terms of returns on your investment, Stark Investors say that in the last year Dopey Donkeys has produced profits of £15,044 although this figure is not necessarily a true reflection of things though. The £15,000 figure only covers January to May. Over the later months this figure drops rather substantially with the majority of the months being closer to the hundreds rather than thousands.
Does the product provide value for money?
I don’t really believe that Dopey Donkeys does represent value for money. I believe that the results for the product are somewhat askew, as for the most profitable months Stark Investors are unable to provide dates for the races which I find casts some doubt as to their authenticity.
Conclusion
Overlooking the issue with the dates, and even choosing to ignore the first (and allegedly most profitable months) months, Dopey Donkeys provides a reasonable enough profitability. Unfortunately I find that because of the lack of transparency regarding this it casts some doubt over the rest of the product. It is this doubt that would lead me to look elsewhere for a tipster service.
